The tables below give the basic specifications for our 4 ½” x 14” rectangular demagnetizer.  The custom finished aluminum housings are constructed to be bench mounted and they have a ‘ribbed’ outer periphery to enhance connective heat exchange.  These demagnetizers have field strengths that range from 210 to 420 gauss. They are designed to operate in a continuous [C] or intermittent [I]   mode in a dry environment.  Units are available for operation on 120, 240, or 480 volts, 50 Hz or 60Hz, single-phase power.  Intermittent types are rated for 25% duty with a maximum ‘on’ time of 5 minutes.  Units may be sealed for operation in ‘non-dry’ conditions.  A flush-mounted unit with the same size opening is also available.  Annis demagnetizers are currently used by more than 400 U.S. and foreign manufacturers and laboratories, hence they are available in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, field strengths, with options to fit your needs.
